The sheepskins from Alpenfell come from England . The raw hides are then tanned in the EU.

Since this is a natural product, each fur can vary in color (natural shade), pattern and size.

The sheepskins are ideal for decoration, as a carpet, bed rug, couch cover or just for cuddling. Due to the natural lanolin content, also known as wool fat, the fur has a strong self-cleaning effect that also repels dirt. The furs are tanned using a traditional and gentle white tanning process. Only natural ingredients such as mineral salts, flour, vegetable and animal fats are used. No chromium salts are used.

The fur cannot be washed, as this will destroy the leather.
It becomes hard and brittle.

The animal skins and products processed at Alpenfell come from animals that are bred and killed for meat. The skins are therefore merely a by-product of meat production, meaning that no animal has to die to obtain the skin.
