The pillows from Alpenfell are very soft and cuddly. Since lambskins have the pleasant property of retaining heat for a long time, the cushions can be used on any chair, couch or as decoration. The underside of the cushions is protected with a fabric cover.
These pillows are tanned using an ecological white tanning process. Only natural ingredients such as mineral salts and plant extracts are used. No chromium salts are used. Due to the natural lanolin content, also known as wool fat, the fur has a strong self-cleaning effect that also repels dirt.
The animal skins and products processed at Alpenfell come from animals that are bred and killed for meat. The skins are therefore merely a by-product of meat production, meaning that no animal has to die to obtain the skin.
